Australian Native Flowers Native Flower Growers Association
Australian Native Flowers

The Native Flower Growers' Association Incorporated was formed in Kempsey, which lies half way between Brisbane and Sydney on the East Coast of Australia. The area is sub tropical and is the home of many unique Australian Native Flowers.

Our emblem displays many of these flowers.

The large red Waratah, the soft white of the Flannel Flower, the very popular small red Christmas Bush and the stunning Christmas Bells painted in the 1930s by the well known Australian Artist Adrian Feint. This remarkable painting was uncovered in an old autograph book quite by chance.

Also in the Mid North Coast the beautiful South African Proteas grow extremely well. This allows us to harvest a variety of flowers twelve months of the year. In co-operation with the NSW Department of Agriculture and the University of Sydney we are trialing and developing many new and exciting products for export. Since the forming of the Association many advances in the culture and production of native flowers have been made, resulting in a much better product made available to our customers.
